BIRDS IN OUR PLAYGROUND During this school year we are
collaborating with an association for birds protection called LIPU. Our project consist of:
* we have put a feeding trought with same seeds in the playground.
* once a week we watch at the feeding - trough area and we control how many seeds left.
* what kind of bird there is and we observe its characteristic through a check list.
* We aren't expert orinothologics; so we take as reference three different sizes of known birds:
** sparrow - small bird ** * ** blackbird - middle bird ** *
** pigeon - big bird.**
At the end of this search we will abble to reconize different find of birds living in the town, especially in places near our school. |
