Aragonese, the language of the region of Aragón in Spain is very threatened. Only about 10,000 active and about 50,000 passive speakers remain, mostly in the high valleys of the Pyrenees. Only the town of Graus and Samianigo/Sabiñánigo have around 1,000 speakers.

Catalan is also spoken in a part of Aragón
